He knows that's his momma's. If you ever have to go away for awhile leave one on the floor for him to snuggle in till you get back. When my mom went into the hospital our little Peeka-Pom was so depressed we had to take one of my mom's dresses out of the hamper for the dog. She pulled it behind my mom's chair in the livingroom and slept on it all the time.
