I must be the one Lone Ranger -- one of my pet peeves is the practice of "baby-talking for dogs." I never baby-talked to my kids and I don't to my dogs either. I am pretty sure if Ben could talk, it would
not be with all those pretend speech impediments. But that is just me..... I don't begrudge anyone their right to do it, I just don't get the novelty and I skip over them. I do have a sense of humor it just doesn't extend to puerile pandering. (Weird pretentiousness added for eccentric effect
