Interestingly enough I am taking a trip to Savannah at the end of the month (I want to go eat at Paula Deen's restaurant haha). I looked all over the historic district at B&Bs and hotels alike. Due to parking fees etc. I have chosen to stay at Comfort Suites North just outside of the historic district because they too are pet friendly. It seems if you get outside the district you have nice hotel options, without the parking fee, and cheaper rates.
