When you take him in to be neutered you can visit with your vet and ask if there is any overcrowding or whatnot. The vet should confirm w/ you if any babyteeth need pulling and stuff. |
Yes, I remember those tiny front baby teeth that seem to disappear all at once...then they really look funny! Jo lost those pretty close together at 4 to 5 months I think but it seemed to take a while for the others to come out. Our vet is really good and very cost conscience...he didn't charge us to pull Jo's last puppy tooth when he neutered him. Also, Jo was Cryptochid (sp?). Our vet in Illinois was going to charge at least $400.00 for that surgery and more if it got complicated but our new vet here did the same surgery and only charged us $150.00. Now, if he can do it for that the others can too and it really frosts my cookies that the others wanted to charge us so much. Plus they would have charged to pull even one puppy tooth. But...I digress...sorry! Anyway, Riley has an excellent bite and I'd really hate to see it get blown so maybe I'll have him checked in a few weeks to see what the Dr. thinks.
