we go to the outer banks every year for vacation and rent house,usually a different one each year and some how the same pair of cardinals always finds us and visits...they prolly frequent the area for toss outs but my mom loves them. First we only had the male. My mom always said it was her dad looking out for her(he loved the beach more than anthying)then the year my grandma died,the female started coming. we have been seeng both ever since!
