That sounds pretty good, but I think it's more for building body and volume. With the petsilk topknot gel, you don't use on the whole topknot, just on the short hairs. It has the consistency of honey and sticks the hairs together, but when it dries it doesn't seem sticky. I put a dab on my finger and rub that on my palm before applying just a smidgen. Some people have recommended Vaseline, but I didn't like the way it looked. I tried other things, hair spays and gels, but nothing works like this, and more importantly it's safe, if some of the hair coated with the gel, gets on your dog's eye, it won't hurt it like human products will.
