I had not heard about that. I have quit using all the flea and tick products on my dogs. They are neurotoxins and can/do cause serious damage and even death. I would never put an insecticide like that on ME to keep bugs away so why would I do it to tiny dogs? (well, any size dogs for that matter)
There are natural alternatives but it seems like most people like the convenience of the insecticide spot ons.
