How scary that must have been for him!!
I know coyotes are all over the place and will grab any small animal but, the news man said right now they are having their pups and are looking for food for them. I would be so worried that they would just run up to me and grab the dog. Although the news man also said that coyotes are afraid of humans..I wonder how afraid though...especially if they are hungry...our neighbor told us that the month before we moved into this neighborhood a coyote was running up the middle of the road with a bunny in it's mouth..and we live in a neighborhood where the houses are rather close..I have alot of woods behind my house, I have heard bunnies squealing (horrible sound that breaks your heart) so I know they are around here..I NEVER leave the girls out by themselves..I would never be able to live with myself if anything ever happened to them.
