Hi,

Maybe this will help you.....we tend to think of weight as we do in ourselves the problem here is that they are soooo small so for us to gain 3.2 oz is nothing but to them it is huge. A good visual is hamburger meat. Think of what a pound of hamburger meat looks like than imagine that on your puppy it huge. If by chance you have a food scale take the amount gained in hamburger meat and put it on the scale and then look at that as compared to your puppy you will see that it is a decent amount of weight for the amount of time.
