Unhappy Bed Wetting

I've seen this topic before on here, and it says a lot about proper crate training, but I'm doing all of that- very by the book. I'm here during the day, my mother takes evening shift and we're both here at night. The longest he's left alone is at night, from 10PM- 1AM (check on him, sometimes potty break) then 2AM- 7AM. We've washed his bedding and blankets so they don't smell like urine. But he just keeps wetting his bed. Not just on the other side of the crate, he actually tinkles on the blanket. Sometimes he moves to a dry spot, sometimes he just stays there and I have to give him a bath in the morning. This seems to be a pretty common occurrence, what did you do?
