THe first beiwer came from 2 standard yorkies. They have a double recessive piebald gene. Biewers, unlike parti yorkies, have a breed standard and a set color pattern. They are also their own breed in germany. The AKC has yet to recognize them but hopefully they will soon.
my yorkie is a splitter. She has a biewer mother and a yorkie father so she is considered a carrier of the biewer colors with a single recessive piebald gene. You wouldnt know it by looking at her tho.
