this is how i apply it as well. Morgan doesn't even know i put it on. When i put it on the cat, its a whole different story. He does the same thing as a lot of the pups here do. rolling around on the floor, rubbing on furniture and walls. Its just cause he's wet and doesn't like it.

I wouldn't risk the ticks on my pup, on my, or in my house. They're gross and spread disease. better safe then sorry i say.
