OMG, that is so sad. Spring time does seem to bring out a lot of various critters; good and bad. I live in a rural area myself, so am careful and never let Molly out of my sight. From reading other's posts of various misfortunes, I hope to learn from those and be as protective as possible without being ridiculously smothering and yet still allow her to be a dog. As other than mainly for pics, Molly doesn't wear clothing excepting a sweater outside in the cold weather. Nor do I keep a collar on her inside. She is microchipped.
