I was VERY nervous with Jackson. He got neutered about 2 weeks ago. He did absolutely fine and was back to normal by the 3rd day
And to the OP, no, male dogs can not be in heat. Jackson was neutered 2 weeks ago and still humps his stuffed bear but not as often as before. It's already getting better since his neuter. I don't really care - I let him. With Jackson, I don't think it's a dominance issue because we practice the "dominance" routines quite a bit and I think he knows who's boss (me! lol) I think sometimes they just.... like it. Ha!
