Thank you to everyone who has been so kind and supportive to my wife and I as we try and cope with the loss of our beloved Spikie. We appreciate it very much!
We are happy to announce that we found an adorable 8 week old male Yorkie Poo yesterday so now our Gypsy won't be so lonesome as she heals from the loss of her mate and partner in crime! (Convicted of stealing our hearts, socks and an occasional treat or two whenever daddy forgets to close "The Drawer"!)
In honor and loving memory of our fallen little angel, Spike, we have named our new little guy: Spike, Jr. or "Junior" as we call him. He is absolutely adorable and is quite a pistol! Gypsy wasn't too sure about him at first until she realized that he was a puppy, too! (She just turned 1 last month) Now she just can't figure out why this goofy puppy won't play with her in spite of all of her gentle pawing, nose nudging, barking and bouncing around like some sort of retarded rabbit or ?? I wish that I knew how to tell her to be careful what she wishes for, but in a few weeks she will find out all on her own! LOL
