I have taken Desi to restaurants. I wouldn't take her to a 5 star restaurant or anything similar but I've taken her to a diner a luncheonette, McDonalds, Wendy's, etc. I never take her out of her bag and she really likes being in her carrier. She falls asleep. I take her to the mall all the time. I have a carrier that looks like a purse and Desi is only 3 1/2 lbs and she doesn't bark, so it makes it very for easy for me to take her everywhere.
