I'm sorry for the confusion. I was taking the harness off of Adie - the yorkie. Cassie - the shih tzu came up to her to give her a greeting sniff.
Adie was in an awkward body position but shouldn't have felt threatened by it where Cassie is concerned.
Both are altered. Cassie is 10 years old and Adie will be three next month. Neither one of them has ever experienced a heat.
I suppose Adie could be positioning herself for alpha. she is definitely the beta in the household and can be pretty testy with Skeeter who is just one year old. |
