 Unwarranted Attack - Why?
Yesterday I took Adie and Skeeter for a brisk walk. We only did about 3/4 of a mile but they were both huffing by the time we got back home. As I was taking Adie's harness off Cassie (the sweetest little shih tzu in the world) came over to give Adie a sniff and Adie went off on her. I grabbed Adie hard and evidently hurt her because she went off on Cassie again thinking that She had retaliated. Cassie and I were both stunned. Adie has NEVER attacked Cassie. Cassie is the boss around here and has put both yorkies in their places many times in the past. After that Adie kept going up to Cassie and trying to get a face wash but Cassie would just turn her head away. Adie got the cold shoulder all night long which just about killed her. It looks like things are back to normal today with Cassie washing Adie and Skeeter's faces - holding Skeeter down so he won't wiggle and shoving everyone out of her way so she can have her favorite spot on Daddy's lap. But I can't figure out why Adie went off like that for no good reason. Any thoughts? |
