With past experience I find waiting until I get an animal or child before naming works out best so that I can fit the personality to the name and face but I totally understand you wanting to get her to know her name before she gets home....so, I always try to pick a name that fits looks and personality but also one that has meaning! I chose Ksena because it means praise to God and I felt like I was praying each time I would say it....My daughter picked Jonah because on the way home he was whimpering and she said.."be brave Jonah"...Jonah was afraid to go to Nineveh...anyway, it depends on what's most important to you: meaning, personality and looks to fit...like when I got Ernie, we had no name but after 3 days of my husband complaining about how ugly he was he said as a joke, call him Ernie-he said it sarcastically but I looked at him and was like hahahahaha...I think I will!!! Your baby looks too cute to give her a goofy name so I'm thinking cute and sweet, maybe a little delicate....hmmmm, like Lola....thinking, cutest name ever for the cutest puppy ever....they are cute, anyway, does the meaning have any impact on your decision? I named my daughter Sophia because it meant wisdom....my son, Ray, after his father means king or something similar.....do you know what her personality is like? Lola is pretty and cute...it'll match a puppy and adult...Sabina is spunky....Something will pop out at you...I hope I was a little help? |
