We don't a big deal when leaving or coming home. Sometimes when you leave, feeling worried about your baby, they pick up on that...so try to just stay calm when you have to leave your baby...and when you come home, you need to ignore any excited behavior, and reward calmness. Music also helps...and there are some CD's out there that are made specifically for dogs to east anxiety. Look up "Through a Dog's Ear" on Amazon. I play this CD for my little ones when I leave, and they are usually asleep when I get home. We also used to use Rescue Remedy...which took the edge off from a little bit. We also have the little ones on a pretty consistent routine...so that also helps. Good luck!
