I've read other YT'ers doing well on Halo. My girl loved eating it too. But her stool became as light a shade as the Halo kibbles are, maybe lighter after a while of being on it--she also has another food she's on as a main dish that she's good on so far. She started getting lightly smelly gas again which she hasn't had since EVO and raw/boiled chicken. Her stool was also getting to be more soft and clingy messy. Once she stopped getting Halo, she was producing good poop again. Dark and not too hard/dry but just nicely firm and a good clean pick up. Also lost the gas issue again. I had replaced the Halo portion of her diet with a line of Fromm's Whitefish kibble formula though this one has grains, I hope they're good grains.
I think the smelly gas was from the bit of chicken in the Halo Wild Salmon formula, but I can't say for sure. She's also gone back to two poopings a day rather than the three it had become on most days.
I guess our dogs just react differently to some foods. I think adding supplements for the fiber is a great idea too.
