When your trying to get them to eat a new food, you have to eliminate all human food and treats, otherwise they learn to hold out for the tastier fare. You can gradually introduce them back, only after they are eating their dog food regularly. Joey was extremely fussy, and I was so happy when people recommended Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terriers. I later learned that there may be healthier choices, but this is probably a medium type of health choice, and he will eat it, which is a big plus. I tried a higher rated food several months ago, now that he's not so fussy, but Joey started getting a massive amount to drainage from his eyes, so we switch back to Royal Canin. I've read many good things about Wellness, and might try that next, but I've read that some won't eat it. Don't forget, the Pet Stores will allow you to bring back foods that your dog doesn't like, as long as you keep the receipt, and many people have had luck sprinkling parmesan cheese on the kibble, to tempt them to eat it. First stop with the other food, and treats, otherwise nothing will work.
