I am feeding my puppies Royal Canin. I just switched them from the RC Babydog 30 to the Mini Puppy 33. It is a fairly good food and I love the tiny triangular shape -- perfect for tiny mouths and preventing choking. I can also find it local which is a big plus for me. I also give them one feeding a day of Canidae All Life Stages canned Chicken & brown rice for added meat content.
Mine do not seem to have any problem with the corn content of the Royal Canin. I used to be very paranoid about corn as an ingredient. Then I had to make due with an alternate food when I was waiting for an order to come by Fedex. It had corn and all my dogs did just fine on it. So, I decided to not let it be a problem unless I saw some sort of reaction or skin and coats less than optimum. So far they are all doing beautifully. |
