Hello

My precious baby is in her 2nd heat. She is 16 months and weighs 10 pounds. I didn't know that she was in heat until I saw a mark that she left on my bed when I went to pick her up. I also have a 7 pound male yorkie in the house who seems not to be interested in her at all. All she do is lay around the house and seems to be very tired. I have since seperated them because although I plan to breed, I am waiting until her 3rd heat because she is only 16 months and I don't think she is ready and I want my vet to run the necessary tests on the both of them to make sure that it is ok to breed them. Could it be possible that he already got to her?
