Oh It happens! When it happened to me,,, it was at night and I had him on a retractable leash,,so the plastic part hit the ground and scared him,, and he ran faster,, and it kep hitting the ground so he kept running, then he went under a car,, ( in an alley) and ran around the tires,, and was ALL TWISTED UP... I was fit to be tied,,then he was afraid of me,,cause he didnt know what was going on,,as Im under this persons car trying to get the leash undone,, the persons security lights came on,,it was crazy! I thought the owners of the car would call the cops,and tell them some crazy woman is out under our car!! Eventually, he settled and I got the leash all undone,,and we went home! WHEW!~~~
