This will be the first time that I am facing this situation . . .we are planning a 2 night/3 day trip in November with our kids (20 & 16) and I'm at a loss of what to do with my babies . . .Usually just DH have been going away leaving our daughter in charge of sitting . . .I don't have an issue leaving them with my mom, although my husband feels uncomfortable with this idea . . .my mom is 79 and she's not senile or anything, just a bit off . . .(to put it mildly) my husband feels insecure leaving our babies with them . . .most of the boarding facilities around me require that they be spayed and/or neutered . . .and I'm not comfortable with them being around the "bigger" dogs . . .our vet has a boarding facility, but my babies have never been in crates and/or cages . . .
What does everyone do? I don't think I could leave my babies home for 2 nights with just someone (a neighbor) coming in to check on them . . .it's not like they are cats who can live idependently . . .ugggggh I'm at a loss here . . .
