I second her idea!!!!!!!!!! If this creep does this to your dog, after you and your hubby has been so good to his family, it is just a matter of time before he or his wife move on to each other or the kids. I would not mind if they hurt each other, it sounds as if they enjoy fighting. The children are the ones to suffer in this kind of family, they grow up thinking this is normal and they do it themselves.
The next time you hear them fighting call the police, so that way it will be on record, then every time you hear them fighting call the police again, the police will get tired of coming so often and they will call children services, once they get into it they will get the children help, maybe parenting classes, or mental help for dealing with young kids. This way you are helping the kids, not just the parents by buying them things, like dish washers. You will be rescuing those kids like you have your fur babies.
I would also watch for things like poisoning or hurting your dogs like others have posted, this family seems like they are about blow, I would be aware of his wife too, not just him. Good luck
