Did she come from a rescue or from a shelter? YHR does not have a lot of puppymill mom's so it is really something that is hard for me to answer with a any knowledge. But I do think that this is a big part of your problem~she is from a mill. If she came from a rescue they might be able to give you guidance. If I were you I would try ignoring HER when the behavior starts. Try walking away and turning your back to her. I do not think I would encourage the behavior by allowing her to hump an inanimate object. The behaviors of mill pups are so deeply embedded but they can be overcome.
