This is such a frustrating story/event. The neighbors sound like a mess and need help, but why would he kick your dog? What is that saying........." Don't bite the hand that feeds you." You and your husband have been so good to this family. What could the neighbor have been thinking or feeling? I hope the neighbor apologizes to you and soon.
