I just got done reading all of this. It is very horrible for all, humans and dogs.
I cant even imagine the pain the owner is going thru.
That being said, if I had 19000 dollar dogs or one dollar dogs in my kennel that I worked 30+ years to build, I would surely have insured the building and the animals. I really do think that the lack of insurance is very odd as this must have been a business for Crosswinds or at least a hobby that they loved.
Its so sad. Insurance or not, nothing will take away her pain and grief. I hope the owner has many friends to lean on in her time of need. I feel so bad for those little dogs.
