Well,the rule of thumb is to triple his weight at 8 weeks,or double his weight at 12 weeks..which means your baby would weigh about 3 to 4 lbs full grown.This doesnt always work so dont panic if your baby goes WAY over the mark..lol.When I got Jess at 8 weeks,she weighed in at 2lbs,which means she should have been 6lbs full grown,but at 10 months old,she weighs almost 9lbs! My vet thinks she will get up to at least 10lbīs before she stops growing,as you can see,the rule of thumb doesnt always work,so its best not to take it literally.
I bought Jessies carrier taking in mind the rule of thumb,It holds up to 6lbs and obviously she doesnt fit in it now.The only way to really know the adult weight of a yorkie is to wait and see
