There's a 3 dog limit per property currently in most municipalities in BC with a some going towards 2 dogs and even certain municipalities restricting cat ownership to 2 as well. This applies to detached homes.
Now with townhouses and condominiums, there are restrictions per strata regulations. They're generally more strict and this is not including landlords' wishes/contracts.
