The main thing I've learned on here to worry about with new little ones is to watch out for hyperglycemia. It's when their sugar gets low from not eating enough. They sell some stuff at the pet stores to keep on hand just incase so your baby doesn't go into a sugar comma before you can get him to the vet. I don't recall what it's named as my baby was an adult when he came into my life. Just do a search here for it, or maybe someone will suggest it to you. I've heard honey works well too.
Other then that TLC is the best thing I can think to advise you on.
