I tried doing it myself at first but when Riot went in for his third shots (first two were given at the breeder) they did a quick clean up there at the vet--clipped nails, trimmed his eyes, between the pads on his feet, rear, etc. They did his feet again at his last set of shots...I wonder if your vet has a groomer if you could just ask for a quick trim next time you're there?
