To make this you get a 4 oz bottle (from beauty supply) 1 Tablespoon Boric Acid, 4 drops gentian violet, almost 3 1/2 oz. witch hazel. Shake vigorously. This is great for ear cleansing. Use once weekly. Also gets rid of mites. First week use 2 times daily then next week every other day. after third week once weekly. This is also great to use prior to bathtime as it drys water from ears.... because of witch hazel. This is really inexpensive to make..I uses this on my kids scrapes and boo boos too. The Boric acid and gentian violet walmart will order for you. Great stuff!! my sister used to show Beagles and got me to using this.... Great Anti fungal and anti- spazmodic. gentian violet is what used to be used in the old days.. Do an internet search, you will be amazed its uses. Hope this helps
