Last summer we took Alfie with us on another caravan holiday in Somerset
The site had a designated dog walk, which was a track alongside a brook covered in nettles leading up to a lake
A real nice pleasurable walk if you don't have a nutter on a lead
That was tongue in cheek, I love him, he is a wild dog
As we walked him he was sniffing in the nettles pulling at the lead
no barking just quiet and sniffing
all of a sudden he darted into the nettles
whereupon a loud shreeking started
we dragged him out on the end of his lead
he had a rat nearly as big as him in his mouth
he had shaken it to death by the neck |
