I just read my reply again and I think I need to clarify it some more.

After a bath, I always dry my puppy's ears on low warm. I just make sure I hold the dryer back far enough that it can't possibly burn them.

The powder I spoke of is a powder to help keep your puppy's ears dry the rest of the time. You only need this if your puppy is prone to ear infections.
