The best advice I can give you is be kind to yourself. You must have an table, arm and noose, Try to use the most quiet equipment you can find. The click of the scissors freaks them.

I use both clippers and clippers. I use curved scissors, straight and blending shears. 2 types of clippers one for the body and a Whal Peanut for food pads and ears.

How they do it at the groomers is very sad...they put him in a cage and turn on the dryer. That's why I decided to learn how to groom, all the dogs I do are dried in my arms and brushed as we go.
