I never had to crate Mimi. I bought the spray that you put on the wee wee pad and it encourages them to go there. You should also clean the other places he goes because he will go on those places again if he smells his urine. I know its hard potty training but doing the reward system works. Everytime I saw Mimi go on the pad I gave her a yummy treat and I praised her so much for it. Now she always goes on the pad, but of course sometimes when she runs all over the house she has accidents here and there but i don't expect her to be perfect all the time =D
