I dont like food aggression with dogs
It always leapfrogs into aggression toward other things
so its best stopped anytime that you see it

You didnt say if he was aggrssive with you
That would even be a bigger priority

To stop him being aggressive with other dogs
Start with two bowls

on opposite sides of the room
putt them closer and closer and when your little one starts being aggressive ... up his food bowl goes
keep doing this until he gets the message
eventually you want to graduate to the same bowl
