I did not inspect the home but I do live in the same town as this lady and have been by her home it is a nice neighborhood and she seemed nice. I did call the vet who happens to be both of our vet she was highly recommended..She uses another groomer here locally but has decided to use me next time and see if things work out that way to keep in touch. She also made an appointment to get Gigi spayed and I have the registration papers untill I have proof from the vet in writing that shes been spayed.. I have been in touch with her this morning and Gigi is doing fine,, this was my original purpose to get her a good home where she wouldnt be breed and thats what I did plus I got my money back..Like I said I went down on the price so money was not the biggest issue..I hate that the lady got her feelings hurt but had we agreed in Pming or by phone I would have stuck to my word..anyway I hope she finds a great baby for her and cookie..I had told her that I looked at her profile and could tell she would be a great one to get Gigi but it just was never confirmed..Her missy looks just like my Lexi thats what touched my heart to start with..RIP Missy

The most important issue is that she got a good home. Even with rescue just because you are FIRST to inquire or want a dog does not necessarily mean you will get that dog. Rescue goes by who rescue feels will provide the best home and if this woman is local to you where you can check on her then it was probably a better option since you will be able to keep tracked of her. Don't feel bad. You have to do what is in the best interest of the dog not the people involved. And, that's no offense to Cindy. Elaine
