It did hurt but i didnt think it was so bad. It only lasted 15 minutes i think. I heard the top of the food is really painful and you have to be careful after you get it when wearing socks and stuff because that can ruin it while the ink is still settling. It fades more because there is always friction in that spot from socks and shoes.
