Isla is 10 months and she had really floppy ears till she was about 5 months when I trimmed them. All of a sudden they perked up! Now that she's older and I haven't trimmed them for awhile, the right one fell down. Two weeks later the other fell. I trimmed them but they still aren't going up. I think her ear leather is just really thick, for one, and it has always been a battle. And two, she has a cottony coat, so her hair is heavier, which also combats the problem. She's cute either way, but I was curious as to why they didn't come back up after trimmed. Maybe it's against the genes for some???
