I will admit, my little Bella is a mama's girl! She has to be around me or in my lap at all times! |
Are you expecting a baby? Because sometimes dogs WILL definitely
get jealous, but they also can get a mothering, nurturing side as well.
If you are pregnant (I have no idea if you are lol) the best things to do
are to have someone bring home a blanket or socks of the babies from
the hospital and let Bella sniff it before the baby comes home. You want
your baby to be considered another member of your "pack" and the baby
should be considered a leader to Bella as well.
I know that when my mom was pregnant with my sister, their dog got
jealous but not in a mean way. She just constantly wanted kisses, etc
whenever the baby was being held. She was very motherly to the baby
also, took care of her, etc.
