Mine are great with kids. They love them. But you have to watch them closely... sometimes kids will pick them up. If they drop them, or squeeze a little too hard, they can injure them. (Especially the tiny yorkies.) The kids would not hurt them on purpose. But Yorkies are really fast and accidents can happen. So the rule with mine is that they are not to be picked up. If they want to hold them, the kids sit down on the floor and let the puppies crawl into their laps. TJ and Sandy are not little.. they are 6 and 7 lbs. And if they come to me or go into their pen, ... they are to be left alone.
I have 13 official grandkids and almost that many unofficial ones. And they all love my babies.
