Well the advantix goes by weight. The one peanut has is like 1-10 lbs, I am sure only using it when it is warm would be fine, but it works by stuff you put on their skin goes into their blood...so i dont know I like to know peanut is protected with it all year long. Nothing has ever happened to him.
