When you plug your camera in to upload pictures....they load into a photo gallery...from there you can use various options to open the pictures...picture manager is one of them.
Vista will not work with software for any other windows operating system. Chances are this the the reason your kodak program won't work with it.
For the record...microsoft is dumping Vista and going back to Windows.
I have vista ....but it wasn't by my choice. I hate it.
