That is the problem with Vista, it won't run many of the programs that XP will. I got so frustrated I dumped my Vista puter and bought a new one running XP. If you are within your return time frame, you might consider exchanging your puter for one running XP.
Thanks so much for your reply, it's too late to return it, I tried the add/remove, it still won't work, won't let me load my printer software either. Sucks
