My Mia is always supervised. She is never left alone in the yard. I am not willing to take that chance. The whole reason for this is I have children, as cautious as they try to be sometimes she creeps out the door. I have chased her down the street before. She hasn't done it lately. but I am really paranoid about cars. We live in a rural area on some acreage. But still our house is next to a public road. So the only outside time she gets is when she is being walked or she is on her lead. These are the only options for me until i can train her right. She is absolutely not allowed to run free outside unless we are at a large park.
