I agree with this. This happens with big dogs too. They can get really excited about a squirrel, run out of bounds, and then be afraid to return. ALSO, please keep in mind that an invisible fence does not keep predators out of your yard, and any large animal passing by may decide to have themselves a yorkie snack.

They make covered xpens for the houdinis. I think that might be better than a lead that could get tangled up.
